Stephen: It was good to stumble onto your blog. I have traveled or led visitors to the Dodoma region several times since 1999 as part of our Lutheran partnership with the Dodoma Diocese of the ELCT. This has been an interesting journey, including work trips - and its ancillary, buying parts. People here buy crafts there to sell here, support the diocese work there, we have ~ 20 Tanzanian students at Bowling Green State Univ (Ohio), with the vanguard filtering back, incl Naftal Mandi, now teaching at the new St John's Univ. Anyway - blessings to you on your work and experiences! Stuart

Hello, Steve -
Was in Western-mode hurry, and not sure if my comment was actually sent a few minutes ago. I'll do better this time. It just said that, after reading your blog, you've really been successful in a lot of ways - it was especially great news about the cable. So, I look forward to having your expert IT advice when arriving sometime after splash down on 25 March to Dar es Salaam.
Take care, in-joy life and know you are in my prayers -

Hi, Stephen - I'm Magi Griffin and love reading your comments remembering my first impressions in Dar es Salaam.
Early March will find me in Dodoma at +Mdimi's request to work in the DCT - such an exciting time, a privilege and blessing!
Keep safe, and know you are in prayers and thoughts,

Stephen, Well, this is the third time I've tried to comment and each time the system told me I screwed something up! This old lady is technologically challenged. It only took two tries for Kate Lemler's blog!
It was wonderful to hear that you have arrived and gotten settled in. By God-incidence I arrived in the Dominican Republic for an intensive in Spanish the week after Kate arrived and she told me she'd trained with you and gave me a link to your blog. when I looked at it then, there wasn't much there, so I checked back tonight to find all sorts of wonderful information.

As I travel around the churches in WV, I have heard you prayed for several times, so know that you are lifted up in prayer ( I know you knew that already!)

I look forward to reading more about your adventures..
In Christ, Faith Perrizo
